State government needs to do what Butler and Greenwood county families and businesses do when times are tight -- establish | priorities and cut nonessential spending. When government shows no restraint, the burden is placed directly on the backs of taxpayers. High taxes harm families and businesses, kill jobs and stifle economic growth.
